    Hi Tim,

    I think your "beak" is balanced and countered by the dock and building. Nicely done, all of these. I especially like the next to last one, with the cluster of farm buildings. Very nice light and shadow in that one, and lots of interesting little delights to keep the eye moving around the canvas.
    I'm going to pick up that Schmid landscape book also.
